Electroacoustics toolbox software#
It includes this electroacoustic directional response testing software as standard. Our software package PULSE Electroacoustics Type 7907-S1 gives you a complete toolbox for testing. This software requires PULSE Basic Electroacoustics Type 7797.

The software also supports manual measurements at different angles. This hardware turns the speaker at precise intervals, so the fixed microphones can build a complete picture of the speaker’s response in 360 degrees. It can work together with a Brüel & Kjær turntable system, which it also controls.

This software adds directional capabilities to PULSE Basic Electroacoustics Type 7797. It also controls a turntable used in order to precisely turn the speaker. It presents the results as a polar plot, showing the acoustic levels and frequency response in a circular graph with the speaker in the middle. The Toolbox also offers advanced capabilities for configuring input and output device parameters and assigning labels, units, and transducer sensitivities to individual input and output channels. This PULSE software measures the output of a speaker in all directions and determines the directivity of the speaker’s sound. However, there is no requirement that all tools must work with the same device. The oscilloscope and FFT analyzers may each simultaneously analyze multiple input channels of a single device. It brings powerful tools for multi-channel, audio-band data acquisition and real-time analysis of electrical, acoustical, and electroacoustic signals and systems. The following versions: 3.7, 3.5 and 3.3 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
Electroacoustics toolbox for mac os x#
This software for Mac OS X was originally developed by Faber Acoustical, LLC. For example, a project may contain an oscilloscope, two FFT analyzers, and two signal generators. Electroacoustics Toolbox is a modularized, multi-channel dynamic signal analyzer and data acquisition platform for Mac. The 3.9.10 version of Electroacoustics Toolbox for Mac is available as a free download on our software library. Electroacoustics Toolbox allows for the creation of an arbitrary number of tools of a certain type, or tools of different types. Projects may contain one or more tools available in the toolbox, along with any captured data associated with those tools. Signal mean, variance, and standard deviation valuesįlat, A, and C-weighted equivalent (Leq), time-weighted (Lp), and percentile-exceeded (Lx) sound levelsĮlectroacoustics Toolbox is a project-based application, which allows you to configure and save project files. The software is designed to work with any Mac-compatible audio hardware and supports multiple channels of 8, 16, 24, or 32-bit data with sample rates as high as the hardware will support.Ĭrest factor and rms, peak, and peak-to-peak signal levels It enables precise measurements of acoustic quantities, such as equivalent and time-weighted sound levels, as well as acoustic and electroacoustic systems, such as listening rooms and loudspeakers. It brings powerful new tools to the Macintosh platform for multi-channel, audio-band data acquisition and real-time analysis of electrical, acoustical, and electroacoustic signals and systems.
